Tournament Bracket Maker
A single-elimination bracket for any number of names. Play one match at a time, run a round, or click a name to decide a match yourself.
About the Tournament Bracket Maker
Add up to 32 names and press Build the bracket. You can seed names in the order listed or shuffle them, then play matches one at a time, play a whole round, or run the entire bracket at once. Winners advance until a champion is crowned.
Ways to use it in class
- Run a class vote between favourite books, games or ideas.
- Hold a spelling, maths or trivia tournament.
- Choose a class mascot or project name through head-to-head rounds.
- Decide a winner with a bracket that students can follow along.
A lesson idea
Try a vocabulary or maths bracket: list thirty-two words or problems, let students vote on the winner of each match by showing hands, and click the name to record it. Over a week the bracket becomes a running class event, and the final match makes a satisfying end to a unit.
Good to know
Seeding keeps stronger or earlier-listed entries apart until later rounds. If the number of names is not a power of two, some entries get a first-round bye so the bracket still works.
